My young Brother in Christ, Carlos..Just a short response to your article,which was much needed food for thought and digestion. After reading it, I feel that several comments will be necessary. I am so pleased that you addressed as one of your topics “SIN”, a topic that many pastors and children of God shy away from. We, as children of God and Disiples of Christ must first come to grips with what you wrote, our inability to make the correct choices even though we have knowledge that the world does not. Their is a disconnect it seems with today’s Body of Christ (the church) and the Word of God. Clearly the “Word”, (scripture) in most cases is watered down, twisted and presented to the church and the world to fit the life styles and mindsets of today. Which distorts our calling, that is to worship God and God only, to love God with all of our heart, mind, body and soul and to fear him. And just as important, to sincerely believe that God “IS”, therefore Christ is and his message is a reality. I have several more comments to make but I must first re-read your article.
